It was a 30 degree day after work, although Fonda didn’t have the air con on, it was still very cool and relaxing upstairs at Flinders street.
Very well lit with the sun setting. Clean. Enough seats to cater for small and large groups. There was around 10 of us and it fit perfectly without the need to book on the Tuesday night.
I had both the chicken and fish tacos and a corn, so that I could try a variety of things!
Love the freshness of the salads. My favourite was the fish. Chicken was good but didn’t stand out to me. Corn… is good too, but I’ve had better ones 🙂 the cheese on top was nice but would be nice to have more paprika!
Loved how there was a different tortilla on each taco. Beautiful colours – fun vibe. Overall I find Fonda is great for casual catch ups a and is great when the weather is hot! Over a frozen margarita!

Calia in emporium is a Japanese inspired cafe. Extremely affordable, we paid around $25 each for dinner and it was worth the money on a Friday date night. It’s atmosphere is amazing and there is a shop front selling all … Continue reading →

To be honest, what attracted us to visit Tall Timber was the Entertainment Voucher of 25% off… (awesome deal!) It was a double date to set the scene and ended being a pretty good experience. Parking went alright. For first timers, … Continue reading →
Somewhere high, something fancy and someplace beautiful… … is what I’d describe No 35 at Sofitel. We celebrated our 8th Anniversary viewing at the top of Melbourne CBD. It was beautiful, clear skies and relaxing overlooking the city movements on … Continue reading →
On a Saturday cold night at hardware lane, we strolled down the lane and Il Nostro Posto’s menu caught our attention for our not too hungry stomachs. Busy at the outdoor seating… But they could accomodate us walk-in-ers. We were … Continue reading →
Sitting at Melbourne’s crown casino lies Gradi, I walk pass it all the time, and they seemed to have a small entrance, but once you enter into the restaurant, the dining space is huge!!! The cuisine is mainly italian, but I … Continue reading →
